Alex provides the technical input for the consultancy. He spent five years studying at the world renowned Sparsholt College where he achieved a National Diploma (distinction) and a first class honours degree in Fishery Management and Aquaculture. This gives him an in depth knowledge of both the practical and scientific aspects of what it takes to effectively manage a wide variety of freshwater habitats.

After gaining his first degree, he then went on to study a masters degree in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health at the University of Edinburgh. This provides him with a unique perspective of both fishery management and the wider environment as a whole, and how they interact and influence each other.

 

Alex is a very keen angler, fully qualified level 2 angling coach and holds a wide variety of tickets including chainsaw and powerboat licences amongst others.
